Create more in 2024. We will be hosting an art journaling group. There are many ways to take part. -In person (evening) at the Lush Art Studio in Perry -In person (daytime) at The Web Coworking Space in Macon -Online through a recorded video -Weekly newsletter with prompts, encouragement, and meet up reminders Joining allows you access to join us when it is most convenient for you and your schedule. Each month and have one guided class available either in person at a scheduled time at one of our two locations and available for viewing online. Each week you will get an email with encouragment, suggestions, and updates for optional drop in, in person meet ups. I will also be happy to offer suggestions and critiques of your homework, but that is completely optional. You will be required to bring your own supplies to each meet up and to have at home. I encourage you to use what you have but I do highly suggest the suggested journal so that there are enough pages for you to do one per week within one book for the whole year. Click highlighted words for links, these are affiliate links and I will get a tiny amount if you purchase using the links: An 8.5x5.5 art journal with watercolor or mixed media paper (I chose one that has thick paper,120 lb, allowing art on both sides and enough pages to allow for a page per week for all 52 weeks of the year) India Ink- Linking the one I have and will be using Watercolor pan pallette- You can also find at Dollar Tree or similar A variety of small brushes- These have good reviews and a carrying case Posca Markers- my favorite brand of paint markers Permanent Pens- permanent pens won't run when you layer on top Gouache Paint or Acrylic paint, I linked the set I have and will be using Matte Medium or self leveling gel for collage Collage Papers (you can use scrapbook paper, magazine cut outs, book pages, etc.) Other items in my kit I may use or mention: White Gel Pen Metallic Markers gold, silver, copper Various colors of Sharpies India Ink pens Brush pen December 2023: Decorate your journal covers and orientation 2024 Themes: January-Trees February-Birds March-Rabbits April-Lettering May-Animal Moms June-Flowers July-Summer Loving August-Animals with Accessories September-Drinkware October-Spooky November-Pumpkins December-Holiday |
