Lush Art began when two friends took a look at Sip and Paint businesses. Cara and Jodie never really liked what others were offering, and felt they simplified the painting too much. They lived in a small town in North Carolina and wanted to offer something similar, with their personal artistic touch, to the people in town. They love to paint and love to drink, hence the lush name. We wanted to provide a fun way to help friends paint locally. Lush Art of Clinton was born in January of 2013.
How did Lush Art end up in Warner Robins?
Cara, along with her family, moved to Georgia in late September 2013. She decided to take Lush Art to a new level in Warner Robins, Georgia. She has always been a big believer in small business and shopping locally. Our Warner Robins location will be closing in Dec 2021, and we will be only in Perry.
What is Lush Art of Perry?
Lush Art of Perry came to be during the Lockdown and the Warner Robins studio was closed. The need for smaller classes with fewer people became apparent. Cara always wanted a cute, converted home for Lush Art's studio. The 1222 Main St location in Perry became available and Cara jumped on it. Lush Art in Perry classes begin in January 2021. These classes will be smaller, BYOB. Drinks will not be for sale, so make sure to bring whatever you want to drink (coffee, soda, water, beer, wine, hard cider... no hard alcohol please... trust us... tequila and painting are not a good combination).
