Lush Art of Warner Robins

Warner Robins, Georgia 31088
(Located next door to Monkey Joe's in Plantation Mill Shopping Center)
Do I need to know how to paint to register for a class?
Absolutely not! Our art instructors will teach you how to mix colors and create a painting using our step-by-step instructions. During the class, they will assist you with your painting. There is no judging, just fun! Our primary goal is for you to have a fun and memorable time. The main thing is to come with an open mind.
How do I register for a Class?
Choose a specific painting on the Event Calendar, each painting includes the date and time the class will be held. Click on the link and follow the instructions to register. If you are attending with a group, please note the people you would like to sit with so we can try to seat everyone together. It is best for the first person in your group that registers to create a group name and share with everyone else what the group name is. This is how we know to seat you together. WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE SEATING PLACEMENT IF YOU DO NOT INDICATE YOUR GROUP UPON CHECKOUT. We can not guarantee seating placement for last minute registrations (day of class) as our table assignments may already be determined. Often we strategically place our guests so groups are together and moving the night of class may not be available. When the studio has been reserved for a private party, the calendar will be blocked from registration.
What are the prices for a class?
The prices depend on the size of the canvas you'd like to paint during class and the type of class you are attending. Prices are listed on each individual class.
What happens if I need to cancel?
If you notify us at least 48 hours prior to the event, you will receive a studio credit to be used in the next 3 months.
Cancellations within 48 hours of class will not be given credit unless the seat can be filled, please find someone to take your place. Think of these tickets as concert tickets, a place has been saved for you.
If you do not show up for the event, you will not receive a class credit. Paint will be poured for you and a place will have been prepared for you. So you will forfeit your funds.
If the credit is not used during the time period than the funds would be forfeited. Sorry, no exceptions. We know that emergencies, sickness, and other events happen, however, the cancellation policy is in place so that we can appropriately plan our classes and space. There are no exceptions on this policy.
Refund – No refunds are available. No exceptions, as this time has been reserved for your group.
Date Change - If you would like to change the date of the event, based on availability, you must notify us at least seven (7) days prior to the event.
When should I arrive for class?
Doors will open at least 15 minutes before the start of a class. This will give you time to settle in, eat, drink, and socialize. We promptly start our classes. If you are late, you will need to catch up with minimum assistance. For the respect of our other guests and are artist instructors, please make every effort to arrive early.
What can I expect when I arrive and during the class?
When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our art instructors or assistants. You will find your space, it will have your name on it, and get settled, order a drink, relax and mingle until class starts. If you are coming with friends, you MUST create a group and make a note so we will know to seat you together. If you do not do that we can not guarantee we can move you to sit together.
Once class starts, the art instructor will show you step-by-step how to paint the selected art work. Breaks will be provided throughout the class and by the end of the session, you will have a beautiful piece of art work to take home.
Does Lush Art of Warner Robins offer fundraising events?
Yes. Please see our Private events page for details.
Does Lush Art offer offsite events and parties?
Not likely. We may make an exception but we prefer to do all events on site at our studio.
Does Lush Art only offer painting classes?
Lush Art may offer other types of art classes; however, they will follow a format similar to the one for painting classes.
Can I request different colors than pictured?
Yes, but you must do so upon checkout in advance so that the other colors aren't poured for you. It is often not recommended to make changes (unless it is an option we are offering for that particular painting) if you are a beginner painter. You will be responsible for deciding which colors to use where, and our artist instructors will not be able to make specific to you instructions through out the class, as it confuses our other painters.
Can I bring someone under 18 years old to any class?
No. Children can only attend classes marked as Family Paint and Private Events. We have adjusted this rule because of past issues where children weren't mature enough to take class.
What do I need to bring to a class?
All you need to do is show up and have an open mind. We will provide everything you need to paint, including a canvas, paint, brushes, and apron.
Can I bring food and beverages?
Yes, we encourage you to bring your own food and non alcoholic beverages. Lush Art is licensed to sell alcoholic beverages (beer and wine by the bottle). Warner Robins prohibits BYOB of alcohol. When bringing your own food you must provide your own paper plates, utensils, glasses, napkins, and ice.
Note: Anyone buying alcohol at the studio must drink responsibly. We want everyone to have a terrific time, but your safety comes first. Please assign a DD or have someone pick you up if you plan to LUSH it up.
What type of paint do you use?
We use acrylic paints which are non-toxic and water soluble. They dry very quickly so your painting will likely be dry by the time you are ready to leave.
What should I wear?
We recommend you wear clothing that you would not mind getting soiled since acrylic paints do not always come out of clothing after they dry. We also provide aprons which will help protect your clothes.
Can someone attend the class without registering?
Everyone who attends our classes must be registered through our website. It is distracting to our painters to have non painters making comments and observing. All attendees need to be paying, registered painters.
Can I rent your space for a private party both with and without art instruction?
Yes, in addition to paint parties, our space makes a great venue for other events. You may cater or bring your own food. Please visit our Private Events tab for more information.
What are your studio hours?
Our Studio Manager is here Monday through Friday from 9 am until Noon. Our other hours vary depending on our events calendar.
